     GETTING TO THE RIVERSIDE STUDIOS

    Multi-Emmy and Golden Globe-winning actress Sharon Gless became a television icon starring as Detective Christine Cagney in six seasons of Cagney & Lacey (1982-88). Since then, she has taken leading roles in many celebrated American series including The Trials of Rosie O’Neill (1990-92), Queer As Folk (2000-05), Nip/Tuck (2008-9) and Burn Notice (2007-13). She received a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame in 1995.

    Sharon has also enjoyed hugely successful runs in three London theatre productions; Misery at the Criterion (1992-93), Chapter Two at the Gielgud (1996), and A Round-Heeled Woman, which began at Riverside Studios prior to a West End transfer (2011-12).

    Sharon’s memoir ‘Apparently There Were Complaints’ was recently published to acclaim and her own narration of the audio book was nominated for a 2023 Audie Award.
